DESCRIZIONE DETTAGLIATA DEL PROGETTO
WeDrone is an airship that flies for several days unattended, carrying 100 kgs of net payload, at an altitude up to 10,000 feet (3,00 meters).
It is a more flexible, efficient and by far less expensive alternative to satellite sensoring and imagery.
It flies longer, further, higher than commercial drones and it carries more cameras, active sensors, radars and radio repeaters than any civilian drone, at a fraction of the cost (purchase and flying hours) of a military drone.
It is self-recharging wit photovoltaic panels, it flies autonomously, it does not need take- off or landing strips, and can be controlled by satellite transmission from anywhere in the world or locally within 250km range.
It is carried in a pick-up’s trailer and can be assembled and airborne in approx 30 minutes.
It is fully electrical, uses the sun to recharge, is very silent, it is a sustainable flying platform that can be used for several different tasks thanks to the flexibility of use of its pod system.
It is patented, lab tests verified, fully defined in its technological and construction aspects.
ELEMENTI DI INNOVAZIONE
1) can fly for several days with electric motors and PV cells for re-charging without any pilot
2) can carry up to 100kgs of sensors, cameras, radio repeaters, 5G cellular phone broadcast antennas
3) flight hour costs only a fraction of the comparable systems (large fixed wing drones with pilot and satellites)

Our project can be both scaled up or scaled down in size and specifications to adjust to customers needs.
At the core of the project is the scalability of the three main elements:
– airship envelop
– connecting frame
– pod with all avionics, electronics, sensors, batteries
SVILUPPO SOSTENIBILE
The project answers several points in the 17 UN goals for sustainability.
In addition it makes use of photovoltaic panels and batteries to be fully autonomous and solar powered.
